I don't remember where these came from, might have been when my hubby was in Vietnam, or it could have been in a mixed lot I bought. Maybe Lotto is a company? or was a company? (these are still in the original shrink wrap package) Anyway, thought the paintings were nice and if I'm right several of these are postmarked 1970.

Mike is right, they are from South Korea.

And yes, you are very observant of the postmark -- they were issued in 1970. It is a set of 9, issued 3 at a time during 1970. The Scott numbers for the set are:

715-717 (31Aug1970)
718-720 (30Oct1970)
721-723 (30Dec1970)

IDed according to your pic:

716, 715, 720
719, 718, 720
723, 721, 722

It looks like they sort of messed up when they made the packet. They left out 717 and gave you two 720s.

Pretty stamps.

I never noticed that. Nice to know they are from South Korea and I like the subtle coloring, reminds me of some old Chinese art I used to see where I worked.

The clue to ID these as being from South Korea is the use of the Ying/Yang symbol and the use of "CH" as well. The CH is for Chosen the Japaneses name for Korea.
