I do not. I would be interested to see what the forum experts would say, though.

well I just sent this off to APS for verification.
I am still interested in people's opinions.

If it is a 125, even in the condition it is in, it should be worth a couple of grand.

From what part of the stamp does load into my browser I can't see a grill either. Nice stamp.

Good luck on it.

Maybe some folks are away on holiday or work etc?

Thanks for the tip, but it still doesn't load all the way. I think Imageshack or my browser Firefox is timing out, expecting me to have a hi-speed connection when I do not. Ah it's great to be back in the stone age. Just chip the image in stone and catapult it my way.

if you have a regular email address, send it to me. I can send the back side as attachment, then your email won't time out.

Sure looks like there's no grill to me, OTOH, i've got a few grilled stamps where the grill is very faint. Be curious to see what APS says....

I have a #136 with a faint grill.. still visible, just couldn't count all the points up and down.
This one, I can't see any points at all.

Folks if this turns out to be a 125, it's a stamp I pulled from that album with all the cellophane hinged stamps. Now I am looking more closely at the other US stamps still on paper.

BTW. Edwin you read my update on the old stamp auctions 2 thread?
I want everyone to know most of the stamps have cellophane hinges.

I'd have to look but I think that there was one in last year's Siegel Rarities sale that was used, IIRC it had a bit better centering and sold for $7k or $8k, I know it was under $10k. Of course, it had some small fault as well. If I see a small tear on there like I think I do that's still a $4-5k stamp I would think. I'd send it into the PF if it were me... Heck, even with a small fault and a tad off center it's a HECK of a find!

it does have a small tear and a pin hole (very tiny pin hole), plus with the hinge damage.. I still figured I could sell it for a couple of grand. I really want some graff zepplins.

I don't see a grill, per se. But the scan of the back, about two-thirds of the way down the left side, there is a line/crack? Is that a tear/thin, or something else?

Either way, please update us when you hear from APS.
