My wife confirmed my suspicion, this one has to do with kitchen... when asked, she throw at me a huge potato, although later at a closer look in the picture what I spotted seemed rather a sliced carrot. A multifunctional something ?

What would one call these? Wine goblets? or glasses? Nice glassware.

On first glance I thought it was some sort of animal trap.

To answer Puzzler's question... um
Stemware? Goblet, wine glass come to mind.

"A wine glass is a type of glass stemware that is used to drink and taste wine. It is generally composed of three parts: the bowl, stem, and foot. Selection of a particular wine glass for a wine style is important, as the glass shape can influence its perception."

Presentation I was also thinking when I pondered the making of the glasses / goblets. Perception and presentation is everything.

I wonder what the insignia on them means or is from?

In 1977, when that South African stamp was issued (for a wine symposium), the OIV on the glass was the acronym for Office International de la Vigne et du Vin.

OK, not sure if this one fits the topic or not... I think of a knife and fork as a utensil, but are they KITCHEN utensils?

We have one of those, exactly the same. I use it at least 4 times a week.
But then my wife is also from Romania !

To add to the Kitchen utensils/Tableware, I offer this nice little sheet for Pessah.
Quite scarce, it can only be found in a special pack together with other festive goodies.
Superb depiction of the Pessah supper [Seder] in the eyes of a good-Humoured artist/designer.
Our Mobile Post Van man procured three sheets for me if anyone is interested.

What can you spot on this sheet ?
Go on, have a go.

Londonbus1...your time starts now.

matzah, matzah ball soup in pot with ladle (yum), seder plate with the traditional items, salt & pepper shaker of course, Eliyahu's cup, lots of wine glasses with wine, hagadah, afikomen in the linen napkin, and of course around the right and top edges, the reason for it all...the exodus from egypt.
