This pair of stamps I believe is #146 but my question is - Is there any premium added to the value of world stamps (like U.S.) that have the printers edge on them? Thanks in advance - Jeff

Some collectors will pay a little more for selvage attached. Yours are different, though, in that yours are advertisements, and they do get something of a premium.

Scott doesn't list the ads, but they are listed in French catalogues.

This pair with a different add would seem to imply that this kind of thing came from booklets rather than regular sheets. I am afraid that I can't add more info than that except that your ad seems to be for a magazine or book. Read Benjamin and Young French(men) read Benjamin. That's a very loose translation as my French is very limited and very rusty.

These ads were definitely parts of booklets. Nice item, backroads.
