I'll buy my usual allotment as I would any other newly issued Canadian stamp. However, Canada Post could print lots of other stamps in its place. Canada Post seems to sell out all its Year of the "XXX" issues, because the non-collecting Chinese buy them. Every 12 years a new set of "Year" stamps are produced only because they are money makers for Canada Post. I was tired of seeing them after the first set was issued. I would prefer a stamp showing them at their wedding as a bridal gown and suit photo. I bet this will be Canada Post's next special offering. |

Just curious..would Canada Post have to pay any "royalties" for using their images on these stamps? Personally I am no huge rush to pick any of these up (am HUGELY anticipating the International Forests stamps this coming week tho) but may pick up a few for trades. |

Personally I think the upcoming forest stamp is ugly as hell!
lol Minesweeper..I admit the top part is a bit awkward, I really like the bottom half with the toadstools.
It's the new astrology stamps that I am finding off-putting due to the color choices.
I mostly view stamps how they will look on a cover with a combination of stamps so the greens in the forest stamps have much potential in my eyes. |

Quote: Wonder what will happen when they receive my order for 3990 gutter panes.....Probably the only way to make decent return on my investment just kidding. I'll order 2 If you had the money and opportunity to actually buy each of the 4000 gutter pane, would you: A) Keep them all B) Sell them back at an higher price C) Burn them all except one |

I like the toadstools detail on the bottom stamp also. I wish they had put birds and squirrels or some animal life up there on the top stamp too. Trees are nice.
Should make a Picture Postage of that pic on here of a car driving through a cut out on one of those redwood trees. |

Regarding the gutter panels, how do you get postally used ones? Any idea out there? (simply using individual stamps will not work as thwy can not be differentiated (I assume...) |

Has anyone else ordered the Royal Wedding Stamp and Coin Cover from Canada Post's on-line Collector's Shop? I pre-ordered this item on April 15th, and the website says that it will be available on May 2nd, but I still haven't received a shipping notification. This is very odd, because I've also pre-ordered the Royal Wedding Souvenir Sheet Overprint and the Pane, and both were shipped on April 29th, the date of their release. Has anyone experienced a delay with the Royal Wedding Stamp and Coin Cover? |

I have standing orders for all booklets, souvenir sheets, pane issues, coils, uncut press sheets, etc., etc., etc., and haven't seen any Royal Wedding stamps as of yet. |

I also have standing orders. Often, it takes more than 10 working days after date of issue before receiving by mail.
