Thanks for your responses, everyone. It seems that CP is slower than usual these days. |

I trust that everyone has by now acquired their crown-embosse SS as there are on;y 100K out there so it is therefore rare! |

Nice one Philb. And since I'm still having my morning coffee, I'm not going to make any remarks about the Quickie Postmark That David Giles is a good guy. I wish he'd come back to SCF. KirkS |

I finally received a shipping notification for the Stamp and Coin Cover. I can't wait to see it! I've noticed that the Royal Wedding OFDC with Prince William's coat of arms is no longer for sale on the CP website. |

Although I only bought two booklets of each and two SSs so I could make my own FDCs, as I do with every new stamp issued; I was impressed with the special postmark which was available with my city and May 29th date on it, even though it was several days after the First Day of Issue.
That kind of bending by CP is unusual and appreciated. |

Thanks Minesweeper for the date correction.
My time machine's transmission is slipping.
It is quite unusual for me to be a month ahead of myself and as the days go on, it's even unusual for me to be on time at all.
I was going to say that I will be more careful in the future; but, I know ahead of time, that will be a lie. |

Canada Post Philatelic advised me today that they were short of FDCs so they held back orders so they could send out everything a customer ordered at one time. They said my order would be packaged today and I should have my standing order in another week or so. A sub-post office in a Shopper's Drugmart advised me today as well that they have been unable to get additional FDCs which they had ordered, so the story makes some sense. |
