I have quite a few German se tenants and tete-beche pairs ranging from the Germania issue into the 1940's. Scott does not list these but Michel does, so is there anyone here who would help me with Michel numbers and values for them? If so, I'll be posting the scans.

Thanks, PostmasterGS. I will get some scans together.

By the way, I clicked on your link and the website could not be resolved. I checked the address that showed in the browser and it appeared to have an addutional 's' in it which, upon removal, got me there.

OK, here is the first group on two stock pages. All are used. I don't know whether or not they have designations for stamps with labels so have included a few of these, as well.

My God, thank you! That's a pretty comprehensive breakdown.

I've got more and don't mean to put you out with the exercise, but if you are willing, I'll do some more scans.

It's pretty obvious, but I forgot to mention all are used. May scan some mint, separately, later.

Note some of the special cancels on the on piece items, above.

Uh-oh. Looks as if I've scared you away.

You were logged in when I went to list these and gone immediately after.

I'm not in a big hurry, so maybe do a page at a time when and if you feel up to it. It's your call.

There is still more to come, but maybe there is something among what I have that I can gift you with, later on.

WOW, what beautiful collection!
I'd love to learn about the printing process used. How they did it. The blocks of 4 with three different colors I find amazing for that time period.
Did other countries also do that?

Scared off? Never!! This is what makes the hobby fun!

I'm on the road for work, so it'll be about a week until I'm reunited with my Markenheftchen Katalog. I'll make a note so I don't forget this thread. If you get a chance in the interim to post more photos, feel free. It's just as easy to tackle them all at once.

Thanks, butterfly.

I would guess they were printed like any two or three color printing job at the time. The plate with the first value and color was printed with the rest of the sheet remaining white. Then the second value and color printed with a different plate, and then the third.

It was just a simple 2 or 3 color printing job similar to what your local printer might turn out on a letterpress at his corner shop, years ago.

Wow that's an amazing collection of se-tenants you have there,modern_who.

In those days se-tenants were kind of rare and special, not anymore
though.
Nowadays they are so common that they appear to have lost their
luster.

Have collected/accumulated these for awhile or did you just
purchase the whole bunch?
