That one is a beauty. Not too far off center, and a light cancellation--what more can you ask? In fact the more I look at it, it has darned good centering.

This Black Jack cover has an ad for "The Methodist," a weekly newspaper published by the Reverend George R. Crooks, D. D.

Subscriptions were $2.50 a year, which was about 5c a copy. Plus you got a 2c Black Jack on cover with at least some of them!

The address listed is 114 Nassau St in New York. I wonder if a stamp dealer later moved into that address?

The stamp has a fancy cancel which might be termed a "circle of hearts.'
