Looks like a se-tenant, composite stamp explosion. fifia - I really do like your idea of creating a se-tenant/composite album. I may do that myself! Of course, that means I have to double up on those issues if I also want to put them in my regular album.

Nice Se-Tenants all, even though some are on special sheets.

fifia,
This leads me to an important question.
Will your Se-Tenant Collection be inclusive of Miniature Sheets,Souvenir Sheets and special sheets [like those shown by jayvin] ?
This could open it up to too much I believe.
Yes, the stamps may be Se-Tenant within the M/S or sheet but there are just millions of them.
Or did you think to include only regular issue stamps ?

Here are some more regular issue Se-Tenant examples from Israel with unusual variations:

First is a Sheet of 10 made up of 5 horizontal Se-Tenant pairs of composite design. The whole block is of course Se-Tenant but not of a composite design. The composite design of each pair extends into the tabs which for this issue are 'side Tabs'.

Beaches !

Next is a sheet[let] of 6 domestic Pets. The stamps are Se-Tenant although connected by a short side of the 5-sided stamps. The Tabs are triangular and the perforation pinholes extend into the sheet margins. Composite design.

More shortly

More unusual regular issue Se-Tenant varieties:

The next one is made up of two Se-Tenant vertical strips of 3 with side tabs. But each horizontal strip has a composite design !
Horizontally they are Se-Tenant Gutter Pairs !

Yikes !

The next one is sheet of 12 Se-Tenant stamps with top, bottom, left and right tabs ! [whichever way you turn it].
The centre square turntable is in gold.
So it's possible to have a Se-Tenant pair from either of the 4 corners where the whole piece would be L-Shaped [Including the tabs] !
The 'L' could be normal,Inverted,Reversed or Reversed-Inverted !

Got it ?
No.

Here it is......

Se-Tenants can be great fun !

Londonbus1...both upside down and inside out !

Kites !

Another unusual combination.
A Se-Tenant sheet of 9 containing 3 different stamps but in different positions on each horizontal and vertical row.
The bottom row with tabs is of composite design but the rows above are not as the position of the stamps changes.
The phosphor [tagging] layout on each stamp is different and this is repeated too, throughout the sheet.
The phosphor will not show up on the scan.

Last one for now. A Se-Tenant strip of 4 Holyland Ducks.
Quack,pray,quack !

Londonbus1....waddling off for a bit.

Good morning..and thanks for all these nice contributions.
jayvin, it is an honor to be part of your 50th posting which
qualifies you for almost 'anything'!

Londonbus, good question and like a few things in my life, I did not know what I was getting myself into when I started!
I think, I collect pairs, three stamps, these 4 stamps block composite designs in the front of the book and starting from the back all other versions of se-tenants. As you said, there are many.
..and maybe stamps like these where the border is part of the picture. Like this one, I have to like the stamp.....for me to collect it.

I was planning on posting the 50th year WWII stamps on Dec 7 but got involved and missed it.

Now I guess I can sell or buy in this forum.

Just when I thought everyone had plumbed the deepest depths of the various combinations of se-tenants,it hit me. Thought I'd stir the pot on this a little. Does this strip of three stamps (#502/#505/#502) qualify as a se-tenant group? If so, there are a few other US stamps that might also fit the bill like the #467/463, and #266/#267 pairs. Your replies should be very interesting.

Merry Christmas to all, Happy Hanukkah, enjoy Kwanzaa, and don't forget Festivus!
