I was looking for some stamps to use for the 22c makeup rate
when I came across a block of six Grey Jays.

Lucky I checked before using them up.

Unitrade 478i "pine cone" constant variety, plate position 47.

IIRC I bought a sheet of 50 when they were issued
because I liked the gray jays motif and they were the first
Canadian multicolour (3 colour) lithography stamps.

alanl, I'm not a flyspecking fanatic like some
of you guys here but it was fun finding that one above.

Maybe I will give them a closer look now,
at least until my eyesight goes.

Congrats. The "pinecone seed" variety is a hard one to find. One stamp out of a sheet of 200 (4 panes of 50).

Thanks 3Dadeo and also for reminding me I should
have said a pane of 50 instead of sheet.

It's such a pain trying to remember that every time.
