Hi,

Here is a yellow scratch on subject stamp, issued Jan 16,2012.
I found this flaw on a strip of 4 (top stamp) received from my standing order with Canada Post. No luck on my strip of 10.

Nice one Mahor.

I wonder if they will let me look at a roll of 50 at the post office? Doesn't hurt to ask!

I don't have an example of that stamp to compare it to but is there a reason why the name "CANADA" shows the letters "CA" closer together than the "DA"? Were they all printed like that so it's just a font thing or is it another anomaly?

I don't have any to compare but looking at the so-so pictures on ebay it looks as if the different coil issues all have a close 9touching) C and A on all denominations.

On the souvenir sheet and perhaps the die-cuts in the Spring collection? it looks like there is a space between the C and A. Very small but a space.

wt1,,,I have 2 examples below...

1 - CANADA from the stamp.
2 - CANADA from a word processor.

The "C" is definitely closer than it should be...The "D" an "A" are as the processor would have printed it originally.

Looks like the bottom of the "C" is a little longer than normal, OR leaning to the left a bit.

This is from the stamp

This is from the word processor.

All stamps on my strip of 10 and strip of 4 have a closer "CA". So I assumed that all stamps were printed this way. I could be wrong....

I guess nobody found the same yellow scratch shown in my initial pic.
