Something that I found. Marks on "1" and "D" of Canada.

Most likely it`s a case of ink lift...it just fell off.
Maybe the plate was poorly inked.
I`ve seen a lot of these on BK69.

I recently went through a batch of several 1000 1c (been sitting on the back-burner for months).

Here is what I found (based on which I thought at first this was a pretty picked over batch, until I found the pre-print crease and the "Airplane in the sky" - the rest are mainly curiousities, though I welcome comments - a pleasant Saturday to go through these - I also found many nice cancels, so not a bad batch at all):

Some over-inking on the above.

Mix of black and brown ink on the 1c. Is this very common (I found about 5)?

Some missing ink on 1c and C of Canada (maybe dry print).

Unusual scratch on plate (not a hair or ink splatter).

Was looking for the above, found just one (somewhat heavier cancel, but sound stamp - and I finally have one).

Nice pre-print crease (notice also the blobbed ink on the A).

The alien Queen. Someone with a little too much time on their hands.

Small black dots throughout, especially right border. Don't look to be part of the cancel.

Dot looks very blue under magnification.

And one with some forehead discoloration.

I found the same Ink Pull as noted by Blackjag on Page 7 of this thread, with a few more noted at the top.

Here's one with a Dot above the "g" in Postage. (Maybe another dot further to the right.)

This one is probably just overinked, but interesting nonetheless.

Blob on 8, which also contains the face lines, and a variety of right side ink pulls.
