Another find at today's Old Book and Paper Show.
A cover postmarked June 6 1929, celebrating Westinghouse Airport Lighting Equipment. The Stamp, Canada #C1 has CWC (Canadian Westinghouse Company Ltd) perfins. The slogan cancel reads "Remember First Trans Atlantic Flight By British Aviators Capt. John Alcock and Lieut. A. Whitten Brown - the bottom line is indecipherable.
There's also a blue commemorative stamp on the right which I believe is a view of Hamilton, commemorating it's new airport.


A letter inside on Canadian Westinghouse Corp. stationary reads:
June 5, 1929
Greetings by Air Mail from your friends in Hamilton, on hte occasion of the inaugeration (sic) of the Ambitious City's Municipal Airport, June 6th, 1929.
The Air Mail introduces a new era of speed and service.
Daring air pilots today are thrilling the greatest crowd of spectators in Hamilton's history. Air squadrons are fraternizing - Transports of Peace are sweeping with their burdens of freight and passengers through the sky. Here, Westinghouse - Pioneers in Radio, have developed and are now manufacturing the most remarkable Radio instrument the industry has ever known.
