The shoulder strap is over his medals...A real soldier would NEVER have his picture taken with his medals covered up.

in this case, the oddity is also with the queen..she looks like somebody that forgot to comb her hair, straight out of the shower..Royalties normally have people taking care of those details, befoe the stamp is engraved...

The "strap" is actually a medal worn around the neck I think.

Okay, I'll play along.

If you really want to flyspeck this stamp:

1. Aren't the Queen's beads broken at the point shown by the arrow?
2. What's with the dot under the "E" in "Elizabeth" as highlighted in the circle below?
