Hi guys

Take a look at this Scott #439 stamp...First picture is of the stamp as we see it...The second picture shows the Maple Leaf is not placed in the flag where it is optically correct.




The maple leaf is not squared to the bottom of the flag.

are you referring to the obvious line under the maple leaf perhaps? considering there is no black plate used in the printing process it must be intentional. I'm sorry I can't help with this but it is quite interesting.

I_Love_Stamps, if you straighten the flag out, then the Maple Leaf would not be symmetric in design.
