I "borrowed" this image off the internet, from somewhere, once upon a time. (aka I have no idea when or where I grabbed this image).

anyhow, since I recently re-discovered the image in my archives, I have started looking around trying to get more information on these stamps, but to no avail. anyone out there have any idea, any idea at all?!?! what these are are? when they are from?

I think that they may be part of some kind of postal or mail toy.
Many years ago were popular and included small stamps, envelopes, postmarks, mailbox, etc.

All in tiny size !

This green stamp looks like 1ct. Prexie and the other one is from "Toyland" country.

Note that Kuhli's left hand stamp is a Postage Due. Not very many of those found in other countries' Toyland offices. But as I have remarked before in other posts: in Yugoslavia Postage Dues were heavily used by post offices for a range of post office fee payments (parcel storage, postal order 'poundage', postal receipts, Value Declared fees etc) - not just for understamped post. So they were a very significant part of Post Office equipment, even in the District of Toyland!

Once upon a time, in Yugoslavia was issued a game named "Decja Posta". It has in a box a lot of stamps, postmarks, labels, forms etc... all like in a real post office, but just for kids to play. I found on-line just this photo, but, it promises that your sample could be from this set...

wow! thanks to all for the input. never would've thought that these were just part of a toy set.

would still love to find some for my collection, but considering that I now know their origins, the quest will not become a priority. but if I run across some at a reasonable price, I will gladly add them, along with the knowledge gained here.

thanks again to all who contributed!

btw, would love to find that Serbo-Croatian set. the cards with the red text are either parcel cards or postal money orders, not enough detail for me to differentiate. And they appear to have the same stamped cancellation as my image in original post.

rod222 - thanks for the compliments

kuhli - this set on the photos was on the sale by one seller here in Croatia a couple of months ago... it is not on the sale anymore, but I am not sure did the seller actually sell it, or he just gave up...

The price was about $45 (in Croatian currency).

If you are interested in, I can contact him and ask about it...
