"We are all familiar with perforations on stamps but how many of us collect the material punched out by the perforating machines?
"Chad" refers to paper fragments created when perforations are made in paper etc.
There are endless possibilities... differing gauges will have differing sizes of "chads" punched out. "

Now THAT'S a truly kooky idea. Great stuff. Never thought of that!

I collect "Any philatelic material that depicts a motorcycle, or part thereof, or name of manufacturer, where the make of motorcycle is recognizable as being of ITALIAN ORIGIN."

I collect stamps/covers/postmarks with my kids names on them - a Douglas postmark form the Isle of Man, and the Lincoln Douglass debate stamp qualify, as do covers from Charlotte NC and Charlottenberg in Berlin.
I don't actively seek them out, just put them to one side when I find them.

For some who may be reading this (myself included) who don't know too much about the Health Stamps and/or Health Camps of New Zealand, I thought I'd post this link to provide something of an explanation of how they developed:

Ever since I acquired the first stamp Iran issued commemorating the storming of the US embassy and taking of hostages, I've been toying with the idea of a collection of stamps about crime and criminals.
