As far as over a dollar, the special deliveries and the documentaries would be your only hope, and I am not knowledgeable enough on them to tell you for sure. However, as Rileysan said, still very collectible and a great start to a collection if you are just starting out. Not sure how much you know about types of stamps, so I will point out that the green industry/agriculture stamp is a precancel. Although this doesn't really add any value, it does make it appeal to a completely different audience. Hope this helps! |

Some are damaged and ALL have been removed from their envelopes so there is no provenance or trail to follow. Don't get me wrong though these are still collectable and someone somewhere will want them. Thank you so much for posting good quality images! |

Thanks everyone. Should I just stick these in a lot and start them at 99c on ebay and see what happens? |

Even though damaged, that 13-cent Special Delivery stamp is a perfin. Looks like "C&J". Perfin collectors might find that one of some interest. Anyone know what firm that perfin "C&J" was connected with? |

If the perfin is C&O, then it would be from the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. Someone with a railroad interest might find that perfin interesting. In fact, there are two varieties of that perfin with a differently shaped "O", as shown here (but I can't make out from your scan which variety you have): |
