Does anyone have any further information on the Calling Lake Local Post stamps. Calling Lake, Alberta is a small community located about 200 km north of Edmonton. In 1969 a local post service was established in the area. A set of three stamps (3˘, 5˘, and 8˘ denominations) was issued. The 3˘ stamp featured a picture of a tall ship. All I've got is a part B&W picture from an auction catalog from 2005. If anyone has any further information, or better images, please share. Thanks.

This is the first time I have ever seen this label.

Most likely it is listed in the latest book on Canadian cinderellas. This book can be obtained from the following url:

Hope this helps?

Thanks Bujutsu:
That is an excellent reference, but unfortunately the stamps are not described. However I will be including them in the second edition of the book, hence the need for more details.
Cheers,
Ron
