Hi to all

Can some-one identify this for me. Is it a rusted Cliche, or a die II 1913-1914.
It has a white dot, (two in fact) in front of the value on the left hand side. The colour is patchy, the G of postage is deformed, there is dot between the s & T of Postage.

There are other varietal items on the stamp as well. It is lightly cancelled.

Any help is always greatly appreciated.

as a humorous aside, has anyone else noticed that if you enlarge a picture of a George V Australia stamp, the white portions of his moustache and beard looks like a woman in Edwardian dress clinging to his face.

It's a die 1 rough paper , The rough paper gives it the blotchy look.

Not a rusted Cliche.

Hi Aussie Al

Thanks for that, the George V issue is so hard to identify all the different varieties.
