Right, well I guess supply and demand.
With people more knowledgeable about ebay, you wonder who is buying these. The two people talking mentioned that the post office that was supposed to get them in, never did.

The mintage was only 2000 for the gold one...
As a coin collector and occasional purchaser of coins through the post office. I know if their order isn't placed within minutes of the release they are out of luck. Even with coins that are five times the mintage. As well with only a small amount allocated to them, and 6000+ post offices, it's a war. lol

Hello, I'm new to this site and to the stamp collecting hobby. I have sporadically collected the odd stamp through the years (for example I've got this 24k gold Babe Ruth stamp I got in the early 90's).
But other than that I'm new...
I have picked up some of the Superman stamp collection. I have the two FDC's, the postcards, the uncut sheet. the booklet, the coin/stamp collector combo and the collector 6 stamp strip (which is a portion of the uncut sheet).
My question is that now that I have all this, I'm not sure how to display it. Canada Post came out with all this stuff, but never came out with a Special frame or Superman album or case to display it all in. It would be nice to have it all framed up on the wall, but I'm flexible. What are my options in terms of displaying this great little superman stamp collection I've accumulated.
Thanks for the help and suggestions.
Bo.

For those outside Canada, the Superman stamps from booklets, the coil stamp and the souvenir sheet can now be purchased as part of the Quarterly Colletor's Pack: http://www.canadapost.ca/shop/stamp...ecution=e1s1
It makes no sense not to sell booklets to those abroad, but the singles from the booklets...

The number of stamps produced: is it called mintage or is it called something else? Sorry for this stupid question; I am new to all this.

In Canada Post's 'Details' magazine (free printed or online) the number printed is just called 'Quantity' and a number.

Perhaps Number Prnted or Quantity Printed are both OK.
