So here is an interesting stamp I found in kiloware. I know this is Scotts German #273. Here is the interesting question I know this isn't the imperf. However, it isn't cut fully on the serrated perforations. Is this a printing error? If so what could this one be worth since it was postally used during the inflation period? I havetried researching this, but can't seem to find the information I need. German experts kindly help this newbie please.

It appears to be cut via scissors. Those types of stamps are diffuclt to separate normally and I think the clerk or sender simply cut them for use.

Thanks Battlestamps,
Yeah I can see why they would cut them for use looking at the back of this stamp the perf cut is so faint I bet these stamps ripped on them all the time. So with it being a used pair does that add any value? My scotts 2008 list them at $4.50 for a single. I know evening using one in this time period was expensive to mail so is it rare to see two together?

There is a couple questions to answer here . First I agree with BATTLESTAMPS, they were cut by someone ,a clue is to see the opposite side where the perf cut is close or into the design ,leaving a wider margin were the scissor cut is . The other question is yes ,multiple copies are easy to find ,just view e-bay listings and most Inflation period stamps are all over the postal history covers ,its even safe to say this period seen many used blocks or larger on a cover .
