In my research on an article I just wrote about the US at EXPO 67, I discovered a wonderful blog on Canadian Postal History: http://postalhistorycorner.blogspot.com

It has come to my attention that the author of this (one of my favourites) philatelic blog has passed away in an accident. The matter was brought to my attention during the annual meeting of the BNAPS Board of Directors yesterday. I was able to find a few stories related to the diving accident one of which is at http://www.bramptonguardian.com/new...cuba-diving/ Andrew was a feisty character with immense knowledge of Canadian postal history of the modern era and beyond. Though I never met him, we corresponded by email and he was always generous with his information.

RIP Andrew Liptak.
