Hi guys...Was looking at my Scott # 30 Large Queen and noticed underneath the light cancellation a dot that is in exactly the right position that Unitrade classifies as a "balloon flaw"..Now take a look at Unitrade's page 50 2014 catalogue..It is between the serif and the main body of the "T" in "fifteen" as it shows in Unitrade...NO PRICING what so ever..??

Also unitrade shows the perf as 11.5 x 12.0...my stamp is 12.0 x 12.0..?

Can anyone help with my dilemma..??
Thanks Robert

Your position dot looks to me like it's in the right place to be the "balloon flaw."
The cancellation would knock down the value, somewhat. But I'd say that you found it.

Here's a scan of mine, next to the illustration. As a note, mine has a cert from the Green Foundation affirming the ID of the flaw.

Also, if you go back to the beginning of the Large Queens listing in the Unitrade catalog, you'll see that the "standard" perforation gauge for the whole series is 12 x 12. However, the 15c grey can come in both 12 x 12 and 11.5 x 12, as denoted in the second line of the listing.
Chip

Hmmmm.
On second look, your dot may be a bit lower and doesn't seem to have the "string" on the balloon.

You might want to send it off to the VGG Foundation for their view.
