Still going through a large hoard to Transportation, Famous Americans, etc. This one caught my eye. Is the "O" just overinking, or is this a common style? I wonder, because the smaller "o"'s in Nonprofit are not filled in, yet the capital "O" is. (Shown side-by-side with a normal version. Both are soaked off paper.)

Probably so. These 'overprints' are full of examples of over- and under inking, broken or missing letters, broken bars etc! One can build up huge specialized collections with all the overprint varieties. As a matter of fact, a collector in Utah ( I believe it was ) plated some of the 17 cent Electric Auto rolls by means of all these varieties!
