Hi, Another question on the Scott's International albums........
While I can't be certain, in going from my Scotts International Part 1 to Part 2, it appears that there may be some gaps for stamps issued in 1939 - 40.
Obviously that was a difficult time in world history, and I'm wondering if Scotts just couldn't get all the info they needed to include some of the "transition" stamps........
My international pages; Parts I through V and bought in the early 1980s; don't seem to have any gaps that I have discerned.
There are a few missing countries; small ones; in my Part I. Cilicia comes quickly to mind, but I added a page from an old Schaubeck album that I bought.
The early years of my Portugal & Colonies collections are on Schaubeck pages from a collection (Portugal) and international blank pages (colonies). Part I is simply inadequate for collections of this nature. I'll be doing the same; using blank pages; in the next few months for my early Mexico stamps.
