I would actually like to go there, I was huge fan of Clyde back in the day. I just don't think it's likely to be feasible. Unfortunately I don't hang out in that area, so I don't have any specific place at my fingertips. Size plus personal tastes would be the real issues, for myself alone I could find one in 10 seconds, but for a group it would require research.

Been thinking about going to the NY2016 and see a few folks trying to arrange a get together. I think it would be great.

Has someone assembled a list of folks from the Forum of who are planning on being there, and what dates?

I would love to meet up with others.

I expect to be at NY2016 for an extended duration manning the Precancel Stamp Society booth and would enjoy a meet up.

OK, I am an organizer by career and temperament - so will see if we can organize a meet up. What we do, depends on how many are committed to coming, and whether we are all together at the same time (it is an 8 day event). Therefore, I will assemble a list of committed attendees who would like to find a time to meet.

If you are planning attending NY2016 and would like to get together, Please do two things:

1. Respond on this thread that you are coming. chasa you are the first official person to sign up.

2. Send me an email (by clicking on my name on this thread) and provide me with the following information:
- Real name
- Dates available to get together
- Special preferences or limitations you might have
- Budget limitations (e.g. if we have dinner, or ultimately reserve a meeting room somewhere)


I would like to get this organized over the next couple of weeks for a couple of reasons. My wife and I are travelling overseas for a 3+ weeks in late Mar / early April, and I will have limited time to work on this. Also, I want to make my travel reservations soon, but want to make sure that I am there for the meet up.

Looking forward to hearing from you folks that are NY2016 bound.

DCStamps, I will be there Sat - Mon 5/28-5/30 and then again Thur - Sun 6/2 - 6/5.
I'm a fan of coffee and or breakfast for an AM meet up as well as the evening beer for a PM soiree.

So far I have three respondents who have emailed me with names and dates attending.

Yes, I will be attending the meeting and would like to get together. Unfortunately, I will only be there on Sat and Sun (May 28-29). The one condition of going my wife had was that we go to a musical or show Sat night. So, I would only be available for a get together during the day on Sat or Sun. Don't change any plans for me, but if anybody wants to meet up for morning breakfast, coffee, or lunch, afternoon break, etc., I am willing and able.

I will be there. I can not commit yet to any dates. There are variables for me.
I like the breakfast plan. I like the dinner plan. I suggest multiple meeting's. To be posted as everyone gets closer and knows there own schedule.
