According to the catalog, the state on L-1 TS measures 6mm and the state on L-3 TS measures 7mm. Also, the L-1 was only used in the 1920s and the L-3 only on Prexies.

But the state measures 6mm on all the following. And the state demonstrates the "dropped" C on all 4 (the C drops down a bit), suggesting they were made from the same plate. So is this a Brunell omission/error? I can hardly hope these are rare!

Whoa! Just noticed that Brunell lists an L-4 TS that was used in both 1926 and for the Prexies. OK, so that is what all 4 of my stamps probably are.

Leaving me with a different question: the L-4 TS is not listed in my printed catalog from PSS (2007), so can someone tell me how it differs from the L-1 and the L-3 *and* is my catalog up to date or did I miss a new release?

Thanks!

The explanations of the 4 Concord locals came out after the 7th [2007] edition, but they are not in any of the books on the webpage. You need to go to the 'updates' available on the members-only page.

Thanks CHASA - and I just noticed I can't type. I should have realized that --I'm a PSS member.
