I've been colleting for 60 years and I've never heard of a 'crop cut', so my answer would be 'maybe'.

Oliver, I've never seen a printed crop/cut mark like the one on top before. And I have no idea how someone actually cut along that crooked mark!

Plate 25643 identifies this as one of the dry-print plates of c1958-59. It was paired with plate 25644 on the press. The line of color at the top is nothing more than the natural crack between the two plates filling with ink and leaving a printed line on the paper coincident to where the sheets were cut into panes. The electric eye bars at left would control the alignment of the perforating and the pane-cutting.
