Is this a Die III? If not, why does it look different from normal KGV reds?

Thanks for looking!

KGV, the image should appear on your screen - it's been embedded in my message.

I've attached it again - if you can't see it, perhaps you could use the "Send note to staff" link to let them know.

OK, that could well be what he meant. However, isn't the normal image adequate for the purpose of telling if it's a Die III or not? It looks pretty big to me!

Hahaha, don't ask me! I'm no expert.

I read Scott and they only list Die I, Ia, and II.

Yours is a die 1. The die 3 would have a white area where the horizontal white lines end above the emus back.

Not a DieIII. Why do you say it looks different.

KGB

DieIII is possibly listed in Scott as 21c.

Regards
Frank

The Scott catalogue calls Die II Die Ia and Die III Die II.

It's very confusing, not least because it's also done with the Kangaroo & Map series, in which case there's a fourth die which Scott call Die III.
