I found two packages of these going through my inherited collection. Obviously old (some yellowing, not much). I don't need/have never used anything like it. Thoughts? Dave

I've never seen these. I recycle Minkus 2 post binders for my specialized collections, but I make my own pages. The Minkus pages tear out...they are just too flimsy, and hole reinforcing is too big a hassle to deal with. |

I don`t know what they are. Quadrilled meaning four-holed? Quadrille--minus the 'd'--paper can't be blank. |

These are the blank pages lots of stamp collectors use. The have little squares all over so you can put the stamps neat and in line in your album. Nothing weird about it.

Peter is absolutely correct. Before computers this is how collectors made their own pages without them looking like a total mess; all the album makers had quadrilled pages available matching their album page format and style. The faint quadrille lines forming small squares guided the placement of text, boxes, and stamps on the pages. Sure must be a lot of youngsters on this forum (and I am jealous!) |

Peter & Rhett, thanks for the good info. I "assumed" they were for hinging stamps onto, but wanted to get an expert opinion. |

Hahaha! My dictionary tells me blank means clean slate, empty, nada, no lines. |

This is still how large numbers of collectors make their pages. Why do you think all stamp accessories suppliers sell them? |

I usually why in bulk in 500 or 1,000 lots. I also look out for unused Lighthouse, Schaubek, Yvert etc in the "accessories" sections of auctions, which are also a good source of cheap, high-quality empty albums. |

Oops. I usually "buy" accessories in bulk. "Why" in bulk is reserved for purchases of stamps. |
