Appreciated the link to the APS Facebook page with the photo of the exhibit area.
I am a bit surprised not to be seeing any photos of the dealer area or anything that would give those of us unable to attend some feel of what it is like to be there. |

Stamps 1962- I agree! More pictures would be great. I especially would like more photos of the youth area. |

It's OK, am sure as time goes by we will see some pics posted.
I am active on several stamp boards. I just am not seeing much interest in this show on too many of them. Again, probably too early.. |

Hi all,
I was at the show all day Saturday and my thought was that it was quite crowded. I too had to wait to get seats at most of the dealers I went to. I also attended on talk towards the end of the day on "how the internet changed philately" but was quite disappointed. There was only a couple other people in the talk.

Thanks for the pictures. I get a little touch of the thrill of a really big show and NYC. |

It's been very busy for many dealers all three days. The aisles are much bigger then a normal show so it sometimes seems not so crowded, but many booths have had 10-20 people around then almost constantly. And the kids area was very busy with scouts and others whenever I happened by. Plus the exhibits were being visited, especially the Court of Honor which was very crowded. |

Rev I'm glad to hear yours and others positive comments about the crowds. I guess I was naive with my expectations. All three meetings I went to hadnice crowds. |

The show is on a massive scale and hard to photograph. I only took a couple of photos during 2 days in New York (I was volunteering, presenting, or manning a society booth virtually the entire time) but this was a random shot I took from near the front entrance on Sunday. Bustling activity every which way in the areas with dealer booths, USPS, court of honor, postal administrations, etc. The back of the show floor (society booths) and exhibit areas were much quieter, as is normal at shows of all sizes. Having spent 4 hours volunteering at the adult beginner area, I can certainly say that there were a lot of people new to stamps and stamp collecting at the show, and they seemed to be really enjoying themselves. |

Today I spent some time checking out a few award winning frames. One that I have to mention is Michael Mahlers, "Civil War Era Fiscal History Panorama". Mind blowing display! Anyone at the show reading this, take a few minutes and check out frames 4771-78.
I wonder if any of these displays will be posted online? |

I have seen that exhibit several times, and he has a lot more as well. Truly great material. For those who like revenues, there is also a great first issue exhibit in the invited section towards the back of the room. |
