I wanted to pass along good customer service I received from Stanley Gibbons. I had a older Frank Godden album that was damaged. The dyed leather on the inside of the album bleed onto the silk cloth covering the inside of the binder. I contacted SG about this and they agreed to replace the binder. I shipped it to England and in about three weeks received a brand new binder in the mail. I was a little surprised that they agreed to replace it but it is nice to see that customer service still exists.
Despite my rant about the SG shop on another thread, I also had one very good experience. I wanted some interleaving for a normal 22-ring binder, and knowing I was going to be close by I emailed them to see if tey had any in stock. They replied saying no, but they could get some sent to the shop in the next day or two.
A couple of days later I stopped in, and told the assistant - he knew all about it, took me over to the shelf and handed me the pack of inteleaving which had been sent through especially for me. Hardly any profit in it for them, but first class service nonetheless.
