I enjoy collecting these. They are inexpensive and ubiquitous. If any serious or casual collectors want to correspond, I would be happy to compare notes.

Way back in the days before the visual internet,
in the days of stamping via "Newsgroups" I had a US colleague
Mr. Tracy .......... who was amassing these Postmarks, in order to produce a database of stations.
Alas, in never came to fruition, as far as I know.

I have a shoebox still full of cancellations on piece, awaiting logging.....

Sundry curiosity from 2008 Newsgroup.

Now, on the bottom of some Antwerp RR stamps, I see KAS Nr. 1 and KAS
Nr. 2.

KAS in this situation means booking-office,
2: cash-desk (cashier's office, paydesk).
The sender gave his letter here at kas nr2
I hope it helps you

I am aware of a 1974 study on these Railroad cancellations, by a Mr. Tom Jones.
Never been able to source any confirmation of this list
on the internet.
Any ideas?

I recently acquired from the Belgium Study Circle a copy of the 2003 edition of the Tom Jones' book. He passed in 1976 but his work is still useful and I know of nothing more recent.

Hi guys, I don't have that many, but do find the postmarks interesting.
A good online reference
