Hi guys...Need some input from stamps you may have to prove a possible constant..Look at these Scott 837 Inuit stamps...The right stamp has a ink dot the same colour as the foot of the figure to the right...If any one gets a chance to check their stamps and get back to me, it would be appreciated..Thanks.

Robert

Robert, I do not know a whole lot about printing, but to me it looks like a drop of ink. I have several of these, just not on the same stamp. One particular printing of the plates 3 & 4 of the 8.3 cent Ambulance seems to have a whole lot of those ink spots! I call them oddity's!

I believe Scott 2128 or 2231.

Sorry Blackjag - too late for an old man, I had gone to bed! But the Scott number for the Ambulance is 2128a.
It is the precanceled version, plate numbers 3 and 4 only exist as a precancel. And I apologize for leaving the Scott number out.

Robert, there seems to be numerous dots on the 1st stamp you shown see below...Looks like the printing process needed some adjustment

Partime and Petert4522

As neither catalogue numbers 2128 nor 2231 represent issued Canadian stamps, are you referring to USA postage or some other country?

We haven't had any uneven cent stamps since the 1800's.

You mentioned 8.3 in your first post, so I'm now assuming that the USA does.
