Timm, those are Railway parcel post stamps. Should they not be in the same catalog as the regular railway stamps? Like the Belgian special catalog. Another source would be http://stampworld.com . Peter |

Not in Scott. Not in COB (Belgium catalog). Not in the version of Michel that I have. Not in the Stanley Gibbons I have. Couldn't find them at stampworld.com. |

Timm, http://Stampworld.com has a search function on the right hand side. When you click on "search" you will get a list of Back of the Book items. Railroad parcel post is the bottom one on the list! Click on it and you get some ten pages of those! Peter |

Petert4522: I found the parcel post stamps but there is nothing listed like the pictures above.
The stamps pictured plus about 25 more were found in an old Belgium collection and may be a combination od Belgium and France stamps.
Ciletaliph: I found a few of the stamps with the link you provided. Thank you.
GeoffHa: I am not fimilar with Maury? |

Timm, that is because they are not Belgian but French. If you follow Ciletaliph's link above you will see familiar looking stamps!

Timm
There are two main catalogues for French stamps - one is Yvert, the other (generally more comprehensive) is Maury. Maury broadly follows Yvert's numbering system, and indicates when its numbers differ.

Yvert & Tellier Catalogue 2000 You may pick up an old catalogue from a stamp club for a few dollars. After Scott, they are a little more difficult to read. I could not find your other 2 listed at all. |

I think Michel lists these Belgian issues. I'm looking for these stamps with postmarks of the following train stations (preferrably still on the packet cards or with either the accompanying packet cards or the parcel delivery/pick up notices addressed to these towns: Monschau, Kalterherberg, Roetgen, Raeren, Lammersdorf, Mutzenich, Ruitzhof and Konzen. Will pay at least 5x Cat val for each. |
