Just by chance I discovered that the Maury-Spinks 2016 stamp catalog is available as a Kindle e-book from Amazon..priced under $12 for the US and $14 for Canadian customers..i'm sure it's available from other Amazon International sites as well. Bought it!..and am thrilled to have it available on my tablets and pc. The catalog is in French only. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Thanks for pointing this out! I just went and looked, to see about getting it for myself, and found the asking price to be USD $20.00. I'm wondering why that is (I actually think I know -- Amazon's prices can be "fluid"), and what it is showing for others? |

Graphis, you must be a better Amazon customer than I am. (I don't buy much from them.) It still shows as USD $20.00. I even logged out of my account, and it still showed $20.00. (I think I have an old Amazon account -- perhaps I'll log into that and see what happens.) |

I just logged in under my old Amazon account (that still even has a gift-card balance on it). It still shows as $20.00. :( Perhaps they are selectively pricing for Canada? (I know when I studied in France in college, the postage rates to Canada were much better than to the US.) |

Sacre bleu!..qu'elle est! When I click on the link I attached..still comes up at $10.72! Try going to Amazon.ca....it might ask you if you want to go to the USA site...and take it from there. Can't imagine what's going on...it might be 'rigged' in the USA! Also...since it's an ebook...there is no physical delivery. |

Oh... Wait a minute... Buy Australian! Amazon Australia is showing AUS $13.02 which is only USD $10.00 (I wonder what Amazon China is selling for :-) |

Some of it may be different tax treatment. For example, in the UK, value added tax on physical books is zero, whilst that on Kindle books is 20%. |

Thanks, everyone! I just logged in to Amazon.ca, and the price did show as CDN $14.24, until I tried to buy it, and then it said: "This title is not available for your country." So, Canadians, grab that deal while you can! And if anyone from the US is able to purchase for less than USD $20.00, please let me know. |

Philatarium...the price difference could be a rights agreement between the pulblisher and Amazon USA. Just a theory...you can always send Amazon an email and ask them about it. |

Philatarium...considering how much other catalogs cost...even at $20...it's well worth the price. |
