Although of poor quality, all stamps on this block of 8 appear to have double prints on the right and bottom margins. The marks at the bottom seem to be a duplication of the peak line above CENT, plus the top portion of the numeral boxes, both shifted to the right.

For a better view, I have also included pics of a single stamp from this block, showing both face and gum sides. I am not familiar with the arch/leaf issue. Your comments would be appreciated.

Nice item regardless of centering. I am thinking a form of offset from rotary press printing.

very wet printing that may not have dried properly before gumming so that one of the rollers facing the front of the stamps picked up and transfered an impression or impression got on the gum after gumming and rolling up and not drying well and went back from gum onto front of stamps

Thank you very much for your comments.

Is this type of offset common for this issue?

My opinion is that this is a strong and very nice example of a Kiss Print. This is caused when a sheet of stamps is stacked on top of a 2nd sheet that has wet ink. The 1st sheet picks up wet ink on the back of the stamp, and when moved slightly, leaves some ink on the front of the 2nd sheet that is in the shape of the stamp design.

Thanks you all for your comments.

Looks like two different possibilities justifying those marks.

I suspect they are common.
