You're not Bee See- it's a problem I've seen over 20 years experience with Vario and I am in complete agreement with you. Varios are "shifty" lol |

Once they are pplaced and scan, shifting is not a problem, I don't think it's shifting in my case I place them very fast to make an experiment, the worst case of shifting are in my Lighthouse album |

Hahaha- same here. I've always made sure the stamps got to the bottom of the slot but they still shift a bit, especially the vertical stamps. |

The shifting definitely happens, but for some it may not bother them as much.
The more you handle the binders, the more likely some will shift (especially vertical stamps as was mentioned).
I'm glad I am not the only one that is bothered by this. However, the solution is to use Hagnar pages. They may be a bit more expensive (not much I don't think, especially in bulk), but they will hold a stamp even if the page is inverted.
I also have dropped a binder with Vario pages, and depending how it lands, the worse the shift is. If it lands upside down, many stamps will fall out (that's a challenge) - not so with Hagnars (plus it is much nicer to have the slots open at both ends). |

And here how they actually look in real , so do have 1 booklet, a booklet in parts and a FDC for this serie, the separated stamp allow to see them in the right orientation You need to use some trick, I used 2 strips of black moun glue on a black piece of carboard .. The White letter are P-Touch White on clear, I wonder if the clear will turn yellow with time. |

Here I made one with more text Here the Vario and here the 3 pages in the folder , you can rlly achieve more than with an album and the 600 dpi scan make it more easy to see things when you zoom |

area66 love your computer pages to create a "text" album type thing while keeping the originals in your Varios. That might be something I consider doing at some point, looks like it would be fun to do.
Though for now I got plenty to do just creating my page layouts for my Varios (results can be seen in my blog linked in my signature). |

What I like when you scan the Vario at 600 dpi is that you can zoom here an exemple a litho stamp and an engraved stamp , when you look at normal size it's harder to see the difference but when you zoom, it come obvious, of course ar 1200 dpi it will be better, but it take a delay of 1 to 2 secondes to open a vario sheet on my fast PC with SSD drive. ( it's 134 millions dot..... ) Zoom of same stamps |
