DrGG, it has been my experience that you get what you pay for. A cheap UV light is available but they are usually battery operated.
An AC unit is far better. My lights came from www.Uvtools.com and I use their hand held portable unit just for an occasional glance like at a retailer or at a show. For serious work I use their 13 watt AC unit
