I have three questions for the group.

1) Are the attached washington 2 cents stamps Scott 595 or 634?

2) All 4 stamps look to have ink transfer issues in the words United and Postage, and the top row in the 2's. Is this normal?

3) Are these machine cut?

Thanks.

Your stamps are the bottom 4 stamps of a booklet pane of 6, as noted by the natural straight edges. This gives 3 possibilities:
Scott 554, perf 11
Scott 583, perf 10
Scott 634, perf 11 x 10.5 (your stamps)

Thanks John Becker.

Any ideas on the ink transfer issues?

Hi Moyok, I do not know what you mean by ink transfer. I can not make your pictures much larger - they go out of focus. Is there any way you can scan these high definition?

Peter

Peter4522, let me see what I can do. I'm limited with my current scanner.

This is the biggest scan I can get and stay under the upload limit.

The question at hand is the MISSING ink areas. This phenomenon is common to this issue and not of any particular value. It had been discussed on other threads in the past, although I can't find one at the moment.

Okay, that answers my question. I'm not interested in the value, really! I enjoy the uniqueness of stamps that aren't perfect, like these and the missing ink areas.

Thanks John.
