You would need a margin block of 30 (10x3) of Scott 481. I have seen faked panes of both 1c and 2c AEF booklet panes. The way to protect yourself is to get a vertical strip of three of the imperforate (Scott 481). The stamps of the panes are a different height. When you overlay the imperforate strip you should see a difference if the pane is genuine.
Revcollector. You may be correct, but I would not want to pass judgement on the pane without seeing it person. The top and bottom margins look good. There was extra spacing between the groupings of 30 on the AEF pane plates which makes it more difficult to fake. There are also staple holes in the tab. That does not make it genuine, but would be a definite negative if not there.
