Here is an image of an engraved stamp depicting the freighter Hai Min and the riverboat Kiang Foo, issued by Republic of China (Taiwan) on December 16, 1957 as one of a set of three similar stamps commemorating the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the China Merchants Steam Navigation Co., Scott No. 1174.

The Turtle ship, also known as Geobukseon, was a type of large warship used by the Royal Korean Navy, most notably during the Imjin War with Japan during the late 16th century. Here is an image of a stamp depicting a statue of Korean naval commander and national hero Admiral Yi Sun-shin (1545-1598), the Korean Naval jack, and one of Yi's Turtle ships, designed by Kang Bak, printed by lithography, and issued by (South) Korea on November 11, 1955 to commemorate the 10th anniversary on the Republic of Korea Navy, Scott No. 225, plus a photo of a rebuilt Turtle ship in the War Memorial Museum in Seoul.

found this lovely set of stamps lurking in a little perused album ... fulfills three topical categories for me, Natural History (snails), Latin names, and the topic of this thread ... ships! There on the side is the good old HMS Bounty herself

Poland issued a set on April 24 1945 commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Maritime League
3 of the 4 stamps illustrate ships or yachts. Scott B36-39

The port of Strasbourg is the second largest on the Rhine River after Duisburg, Germany. Here is an image of a stamp depicting quayside river freighters and cargo cranes in Strasbourg port, designed and engraved by Pierre Gandon, and issued by France on October 6, 1956, Scott No. 809, Y&T No. 1080.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting the French oceanographic research and supply ship Marion Dufresne I, designed and engraved by André Lavergne, and issued for use in French Southern and Antarctic Territories on January 1, 1993 to commemorate the vessel's 20th anniversary, Scott No. 184. Note: This ship was named in honor of French explorer Marc-Joseph Marion du Fresne (1724-1772), and in 1995 it was replaced by a slightly bigger ship, the Marion Dufresne II.
