Left - Normal perf on white paper.
middle - green paper different perforations.
Right - Green stamp, normal perforations.

BOTTOM 3 STAMPS

With the exception of the Park Avenue Local Post they are all Ohio state revenue stamps. The Park Avenue Local Post appears to be a modern bogus local post stamp - I have not seen that one before. The Ohio state revenues are not listed in the Scott US catalog but should be listed in the State Revenue Catalog published by the State Revenue Society.

Ahem. . . Those wine and mixed beverage tax stamps need to be destroyed, according to the instructions. Better get to it!

The top stamps which are perforated are all in the BD1 family in the catalog. The slot perforated one in the middle of the top row is BD2. in the bottom row the one which has no denomination is BD3. The ones with the 1˘ denomination are BD4. There are many varieties of papers in the catalog, but since these were exposed to the upholstered furniture or mattresses, one has to be tentative in the identification of the varieties (unless they are in mint condition.

There is an interesting spelling variety BEDDNIG to be found on BD3 and BD4.

The WINE AND MIXED BEVERAGE stamps come in a host of perforation varieties and some additional denominations. In addition there is a final set with the printer's identification along the bottom Eureka Specialty Printing Co., Scranton, PA.

Absolutely!

Your copy on my monitor looks to be green on light green paper. If so, it is a BD-4a.

No used price for the used copy, but a mint copy catalogs at $15 or just shy of 4X a normal copy. Used copies of the normal stamp cat at $2 for a comparison.

PS: I would be interested in the top two left bedding stamps for my collection if you are willing. Not sure what you collect - perhaps we can trade? I don't need the BEDDNIG stamp.

Thanks in advance!

The Philippine Islands stamp can be found in the Forbin catalog, issued 1907 (under U.S. Philippines).

Didn't occur to me to look at Forbin, presumed later than 1915

There is a more recent catalog called the Warren Catalog for Philippines revenues.

There is the Warren update authored by the late Douglas K. Lehmann and Donn Lueck. published in 1993. There are a number of variations in the black numbers noted there. The reason for two numbers is that in use there was the document and the government receipt. The stamp was torn in two, one half stayed on the document and one half stayed on the receipt kept by the government.

Actually, there's a newer reference catalog:

http://blog.stamplibrary.org/2014/0...g-published/

If you are seriously looking to collect state revenue stamps, this would be worth the money.
