Sheesh.
"To err is human" ... to do it regularly ?
Thanks, by the way.

I made a coffee Christmas morning, the water jug still had the lemon inside,
cleansing the inside.

Getting old is lots of fun.

1920 Heilingenblut Plebiscite Label.

(Outbid on a full set ..sold Circa $32 if I recall)

In appreciation to the Austrian Philatelic Society
Our Librarian has looked in "Briefmarkenaustellung 1000 Jahre selbständiges Herzogtum Kärnten" published in 1976 and says:

Yes, it is one of a set of three depicting Heiligenblut - each comes in two varieties that relate to the value tablet - thinner number with point or thicker number without point. There are also differences in the shades of blue. Produced by the Austrians for the Carinthia plebiscite in 1920.

Another example has popped up in my Austrian Collection.
It seems unusual to find 2 x valuable stamps.

I am suspecting forgeries, any members have Michel reference to these, please?

Thank you.

I agree, I had several of them, think one of my copies even made its way down under.... I also suspected them to be forgeries, but did not investigate any further.

Rod, thanks for the Austria dups !. Please hold on to them and do not post them Monday as I have received, also, some time ago, a generous envelope of Austria stamps from Blaamand and have not done "inventory" yet - In a couple of weeks, his stamps will have gone under my attention (sorry Blaamand) and I will report back to you by e-mail, Rod..
