Asking for a friend of mine who specializes in International Reply Coupons.

Can anyone read the date on the Thai originating postmark?

I've included a couple of images for context and for detail.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Here are the numerals...I make it 11-3-56

Thai dates are Buddhist era, 543 ahead of the Gregorian calendar, so I cannot give you a definitive reply. (but looking at Berlin ...perhaps 11-3-2013 )

2013+543 =2556 or abbrev. 56

Khorat = Nakhon Ratchasima.

I agree with Rod that the Thai date is written as 11.3.56.

The German date is 19.8.1913

The Thai New Year in 1913 was on 1st April so there was a three month offset.

And as Rod has said there was a difference of 543 years.

So my guess is that this is 11th June 1913 in our calendar.

Rod and Nigel, thank you both for your excellent help on this! My hat's off to you both!

(And Rod, no worries -- the chart you supplied and your willing to take the first plunge in the pool, I appreciate all of it!)

I'll keep checking this thread in case someone else has any additional information to add.
