Contributions welcomed, does not have to be on Steiner Page.
Your stamps highlight the 2 dimensions of the ideogram.

QUERYSc#415 21c This stamp is Wmk Yu, so must be Secret Mark But does not look like a secret mark to me Perhaps an ink issue? |

Wiki
Middle Kingdom The English translation of "Zhongguo" as the "Middle Kingdom" entered European languages through the Portuguese in the 16th century and became popular in the mid 19th century. By the mid 20th century the term was thoroughly entrenched in the English language to reflect the Western view of China as the inwards looking Middle Kingdom, or more accurately the Central Kingdom. Endymion Wilkinson points out that the Chinese were not unique in thinking of their country as central, although China was the only culture to use the concept for their name.[33] The term Zhongguo was also not commonly used as a name for China until quite recently, nor did it mean the "Middle Kingdom" to the Chinese, or even have the same meaning throughout the course of history. |

On January 6, 2021, I posted this sentence on this thread: Quote: From my China collection, here is one of my favorites, ROC Scott #B9a, which now has a 21 Scott Cat Value of $110.00 MNH. I noticed in the new 2022 Scott Catalogue, Scott #B9a now has a value of $200.00 MNH. Usually Scott prices do not vary that much from year-to-year, but this went up $90.00! Just so you know, Linus |

Hi Linus, Nice! I also keep a track of my valuable issues, learnt that from an SCF member, Tony McGillycuddy. I keep an eye at Auctions, and ebay. |

The PRC Scott #999A (The entire nation is red) that you posted above, now has a 2022 Scott CV of $80,000.00 used and $135,000.00 MNH. I have no idea how to tell a counterfeit of this issue; one stamp I will probably never own anyway.
