I know some of you use these. As you know, the pages on these are a bit over-sized compared to Scott or others. I am running into issues with what to do with collateral material such as covers so that they can be displayed in sequence with the stamps. The Palo pages are wider and taller than any other brand I know of. Palo does sell hingeless stock sheets but only in a few configurations.
What would be ideal would be to hit on a system to print my own annotated pages to fit into these albums without buying an extra wide printer. The pages are I think 10 1/4" wide. I've thought about taking some blank pages into Kinko's with the write ups I want and have those copied onto them. Has anyone else done this? Were you happy with the result?
What about the option of printing your custom pages out on regular 8.5 x 11 pages and then attaching those onto blank Palo pages with double-sided tape?
Chris, an intriguing idea. I'd need to find pages on a stock that match the one Palo uses, sort of a mild off-white. Then I could put the entire page in a protector. Why didn't I think of that?
Re the double sided tape: is that the peelable kind I can remove and reuse or is it like regular tape other than being two-sided? A standard 8.5 x 11 sheet won't cover up the frame lines on thee pages, but- I can position the sheet with just the bottom frame peeking out. Looks better than it sounds
I am a big proponent of the local "mom-and-pop" printer (not Staples or OfficeMax or ...). Take a Palo page and a custom "page" to the local printer and see what he or she can do for you. You might be surprised.
