Interference of this sort seems to be a very big stumbling-block that needs to be overcome in order to have reliable drone deliveries.
About a year and a half ago, I went to a concert by a Japanese pop group that used drones in their stage show. The audience was told to turn off their devices, because they would interfere with the drones, and there was a threat of cancellation if the audience didn't comply. I doubt that
everyone turned off their devices, but evidently
enough people did, because the show went forward as planned. But forcing people to turn off their (apparent) life-support systems out in the real world would be an impossibility.
