What happened to the "small package".
If the drone crashed and was in pieces
that doesn't give much hope for the package.

Thanks for sharing the article.

Alexei Tsydenov, the head of the Buryatia region who was present at the crash site, said the more than 100 wi-fi connections in the area could have disrupted the drone's flight.

Interference of this sort seems to be a very big stumbling-block that needs to be overcome in order to have reliable drone deliveries.

About a year and a half ago, I went to a concert by a Japanese pop group that used drones in their stage show. The audience was told to turn off their devices, because they would interfere with the drones, and there was a threat of cancellation if the audience didn't comply. I doubt that everyone turned off their devices, but evidently enough people did, because the show went forward as planned. But forcing people to turn off their (apparent) life-support systems out in the real world would be an impossibility.

I was a little concerned with the force of impact.
Imagine that hitting someone.

I am not a big fan of package drones, or driverless cars.........
