I normally have interest in pre 1940 Canada and Provinces..Was looking at Ralph's re-entry.com and notice the Scott 275 does have a re-entry associated with it...Looked through my singles and (not my blocks) found a re-entry..Boy, it is hard to see..Below is re-entry.com and my stamp.

Each line has a re-entry below them and also the date...Going to have to pay attention to post 1940's more in the future.

BTW..Welcome to the forum..

Here is the meaning..

Quote:
A re-entry is a constant plate variety occurring only on steel engraved stamps that shows portions of the design doubled or even tripled, one over the other. It occurs in the same position on every sheet printed from the plate on which the re-entry occurs

Took me a while to find the re-entries, I was preoccupied looking at his right hand. Seems to be missing a finger. There are five on the left, but only four on the right.

Thanks wert. The original post had re-entry.com but now I see that it is re-entries.com.
